If Slaughterhouses Had Windows

I suggest we all send thank-you notes to this teacher who inadvertently (one hopes) turned at least a few kids into life-long vegans:

Unfortunately this appears to be a fictional story on a site with fictional stories based on current events and topics. Still, it could make a few people think about the issue. It would be great if people were exposed to the whole truth ~ especially as kids.

HEY PEOPLE – read the name of the website . . . check your spelling . . . yes, it’s Newsweak, not Newsweek. See the difference? This is not a real story, wow.

Afraid you are deluding yourself if you think this didn’t happen. The website states it is where the ‘facts’ come to die (away from national press), usually to spare people’s feelings or to keep them ignorant. How many people would eat meat if they saw how it was produced? How many would eat it if they had to produce it themselves? Even less! Don’t be a hypocrite. Don’t eat meat or wear fur!

Your fears about delusion are unfounded. It didn’t happen.
  • Even if the details aren’t accurate… Maybe this photo was from a year or two ago – The location may be wrong… Or other minor errors. The fact remains that it IS horrible to a caring child OR adult that such brutal things happen to innocent life! There is no getting around that truth!

The photo captures what we all know to be reality – And we rightfully should be as sickened as this child appears to be!
