Vito was sitting in the barn one fine afternoon when Henry decided to hop up and catch the view from a few feet higher than usual. Thus was this adorable photo-op made possible.
Leaving behind the cute factor, this kind of situation reminds us that interspecies cooperation (or at least tolerance) is the rule rather than the exception. Given that our species cannot seem to understand the importance of such cooperation, it’s an important, and humbling, reminder that when we get out of the way, everyone else seems to make things work. We are honored to care for both Henry and Vito, as well as the hundreds of other animals who make VINE their home.
